Moving Backward

WHEN MOVING IN REVERSE, BE READY FOR THE CART TO LURCH TOWARDS YOU AND GET IMMEDIATELY UP TO SPEED. BE CAREFUL; STEP BACK AND BE PREPARED TO WALK BACKWARDS. CONSIDER STANDING TO THE SIDE OF THE CART UNTIL YOU GET USED TO MOVING BACKWARDS.

To move backwards (in reverse):

1.Set the Direction Toggle to Reverse, it’s the backward switch position.

2.Press and hold the Reverse Safety Button.

3.Press the PowerPad.

Move in reverse only for short distances. If you have a long distance to travel, turn your Cart around and go forward.

Reverse and the Reverse Safety Button pressed down.

Stopping

To stop when moving forward or backwards: 1. Release the PowerPad.

THE NEUTON GARDEN CART DOES NOT HAVE A BRAKING SYSTEM. INSTEAD, TO STOP YOUR CART, YOU SIMPLY RELEASE THE POWERPAD. BECAUSE OF ITS MOMENTUM, YOUR CART MIGHT CONTINUE TO MOVE A BIT AFTER YOU RELEASE THE POWERPAD. DON’T LET GO OF THE HANDLE UNTIL YOUR CART STOPS COMPLETELY. PARK YOUR CART IN A LEVEL AREA SO IT DOESN’T ROLL AWAY.
