5 Legrest Maintenance

WARNING:

After ANY adjustments, repair, or service and BEFORE use, make sure that all screws, nuts and bolts are tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.

It is important for regular inspection to be carried out on the Armrests for signs of visible damage. If any repairs are required, these should be carried out by an INVACARE dealer.

5.1Installing / Removing Legrests

1. Turn the Legrest to the side (open footplate is perpendicular to wheelchair), locate holes on legrest onto the pins.

2. Rotate the legrest towards the inside of the wheelchair until it locks into place.

3. Ensure the release lever in engaged.

Footplate Flip-up

NOTE:

The footplate will be on the inside of the wheel- chair when locked in place.

4. Repeat STEPS 1-3 for other legrest assembly.
