The Pilot + controller fitted to your Spectra BlitzTM power chair has several features and functions. The following procedure shows how to use these.

Mode Button

Use the mode button to make speed adjustments or actuator movements as follows:

Speed adjustment - Press mode button once, the speed display LEDs will flash. Push the joystick left or right to increase or decrease the speed program (There are five speed settings, Speed 1 is the lowest speed with one LED lit, Speed 5 is the highest speed with five LEDs lit). When the desired speed has been selected either press the mode button twice or move the joystick forward or backward to return to standard drive mode.

Actuator adjustment - Press the mode button twice until the display shows the actuator LED to be operated. Move the joystick forward or backward to operate the actuator. Once the desired position has been acheived press the mode button once to return to drive mode.

Battery Gauge

If the battery gauge shows RED, YELLOW and GREEN, the batteries are charged. If the battery gauges show just RED and YELLOW, then you should charge the batteries as soon as you can. If the battery gauge shows just RED, either steady or flashing slowly, then you should charge the batteries immediately.
