11 Motor locks, Wheels and Brakes

WARNING

After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure that all attaching hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.

CAUTION

As with any vehicle, the wheels and tyres should be checked periodically for cracks and wear, and should be replaced.

11.1Disengaging/Engaging Motor Lock

Levers

WARNING

DO NOT engage or disengage motor locks until the power switch is in the OFF position.

1. Perform one (1) of the following:

• Engage (PUSH) - turn motor lock levers towards the rear wheels.

• Disengage (DRIVE) - turn motor lock levers so they are in line with wheel chair frame.
