CAUTION

Freewheel operation is only intended for short-term use in SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, NOT as a regular or permanent mode of Powerchair movement. In freewheel mode the Powerchair is NOT secured by the electromagnetic brakes, as both brake systems are out of action during this time.

12.8VSI Controller Functions

The VSI controller fitted to your Spectra BlitzTM power chair has several features and functions. The following procedure shows how to use these.

Horn Button

Press the button once to sound the intergrated horn.

LOCK Function

To lock the VSI and prevent unauthorised use of your Powerchair perform the following.

1. Whilst power is on, press and hold the power button. After one (1) second the system will beep, now release the power button.

2.Move the joystick forward until the system beeps, then move the joystick backward until the system beeps.

3.Now release the joystick, there will be a long beep. The wheelchair is now locked.
