3.3 Contact List

From the contact list you can view contact information, search for a contact in a group and call a contact. The status information in the contact list displays the availability of the contact. Icons indicate presence to the left of the contact’s name, and by text to the right. You can adjust the status of your IP8540. Refer to

In the contact list, you can view the following information for each contact:

Contact's presence,

Contact's name, and

Contact card, which contains additional details about the contact.

3.3.1Viewing a Contact Card

A contact card provides details about the contact’s availability, activity and alternate phone numbers. Depending on the level of access granted you by a contact, the card displays the contact’s schedule, phone numbers, as well any note the contact has written.

To view a contact card:

From the Contacts screen, tap the name of the contact.
