Opening and closing Koi

Your Kyocera Koi phone has a swivel function that offers various features when open and closed. These features are detailed throughout this guide.

To open the swivel, face the

phone screen toward you and gently slide the swivel to the right and up until it

clicks into place.

To close the swivel, push it down and to the right until it clicks into place.

Important: Do not attempt to pull the swivel apart from the base.

Installing the battery

Your phone comes with a removable lithium ion (LI Ion) battery. Hold the phone with the back facing you.

1.Slide the tab at the bottom of the door up. Remove the battery door.

2.Place the battery in the phone casing with the metal contacts facing the right side

of the phone.

3.Replace the battery door by sliding the notches into the openings near the top of the phone.

4. Lower the battery door and slide the tab at the bottom of the door up and then down to secure the cover into place.
