RESETTING THE

TAD-1006

If the TAD-1006 locks up or does not operate properly, you might need to reset it.

Important: Resetting the TAD-1006 deletes all recorded messages (in- cluding any outgoing announce- ments), day and time settings, number of rings, and resets the remote opera- tion security code to its default.

Use a pointed object, such as a straightened paper clip, to press RE- SET.

The TAD-1006 initializes and the AN- SWER, MEMO, and PLAY indicators flash six times. Then the ANSWER in- dicator lights steadily.

Repeat all of the procedures in “TAD Preparation” on Page 16 before you begin using the TAD-1006.
