Installing Your Door Intercom Adapter

Step 2: Set DIP Switches to Proper Positions

Set Switches 7-8

Set switch 7 in the down position and switch 8 in the up position to set this fea- ture module as a Door Intercom Adapter.

Set Switches 5-6 (Optional)

The setting of these DIP switches deter- mines how many seconds the magnetic door strike will remain unlocked when you unlock it from one of your system phones.

You may choose either 2 seconds, 5 sec- onds, 10 seconds, or 15 seconds.

Note that you only need to be concerned with this setting if you plan to connect a magnetic door strike to this Door Intercom Adapter.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that switch 7 is set in the down posi- tion and switch 8 is set in the up position.

Set Switches 1-4

The setting of these four DIP switches determines what station number your Door Intercom Adapter will be set as.

You may choose to set this Door Intercom Adapter as either station #23, #24, #25, or #26.
