BUSY REDIAL
When you call and get a busy signal, press the BUSY REDIAL button and hang up the handset if you are using it.The phone automatically redials every 30 seconds (up to 10 times) while you do something else.
When it redials and does not get a busy signal, the phone beeps to let you know that your call has gone through. Then, you can pick up the handset or press SPEAKER to talk.
Make note of the following guidelines when using Busy Redial:
•While dialing the number, the phone line is in use; but during the pause time between redials, the line is open for any extension to use.
•If someone picks up an extension phone or a call comes in on the same line, Busy Redial is automatically canceled.
•If you don’t pick up within 60 seconds after hearing the beeps (indicating that your call has gone through) the phone automatically hangs up.
