VIP is an answering machine feature which answers calls silently when you do not want to be disturbed, but lets you know when someone you have given a code to is calling, see page 29.

Charging - comes on when the handset battery is being charged. In Use – comes on when the line is in use, see page 10.
Message display LED

Answer on/off
Switches the answering machine on and off. Also allows access to the outgoing message recording facility, see page 18.
Mailboxes 1 & 2
Gives callers two additional options as to where messages are left. For example, business messages in mailbox 1 and personal messages in mailbox 2, see page 28.
