Reviewing Caller ID Memory

The VT 1421 stores up to 50 Caller ID

records in memory. Using the keys, you can sequentially scroll through the Caller ID records.

To view information stored in Caller ID memory, press the OK key to activate the menu.

Use the keys to locate the following menu item:

Press the OK key again to begin reviewing Caller ID memory.

The display will show the most recent call received. For example:

Use the keys to scroll through the Caller ID memory.

To view additional name characters not shown on the display, press and hold the 9 key.

To view the time and date of the call press and hold the 7 key. You will see a display like:

To exit press OFF.

Dialing From Caller ID Memory

To view information stored in Caller ID memory, press the OK key to activate the menu.

Use the keys to locate the following menu item:

Press the OK key again to begin reviewing Caller ID memory.

The display will show the most recent call received. For example:

Use the keys to scroll through the Caller ID memory.

To dial the number exactly as it is displayed in Caller ID memory, simply press the PHONE key. Using the display above as an example, the actual digits dialed would be: 503-596-1200.

11 Digit Dialing

To dial 1 + Area Code + 7 Digit Phone Number, press the 1 key when reviewing Caller ID memory. For example:

Then press PHONE to dial.
