SETUP MODE OPTIONS

The VT 1421 has four user configurable setup options which are accessible through the menu.

Set Ring Type

The VT 1421 has four programmable ringer tones, and the option to turn OFF the ringer. The default ringer setting is ring type 1.

Press OK to activate the menu.

Use the keys to locate the following menu item:

Press OK to enter SETUP MODE. The following will be displayed:

Press the OK key to display the current type setting. For example:

Use the keys to select the desired ring type. As you scroll through the available tones(1-4, or OFF), each ringer will activate for 2 seconds.

Press OK to save the new ringer type. A confirmation tone will be generated.

Press OFF to exit.

Set Ring Volume

The VT 1421 has two programmable ringer volume settings, High or Low. The default ringer volume setting is High.

Press OK to activate the menu.

Use the keys to locate the following menu item:

Press OK to enter SETUP MODE.

Use the keys to locate the following menu item:

Press the OK key to display the current volume setting. For example:

Use the keys to select the desired volume setting. As you scroll through the available settings, the ringer will activate for 2 seconds.

Press OK to save the new ringer volume setting. A confirmation tone will be generated.

Press OFF to exit.
