Charging the Battery

To charge the battery (with the radio attached):

1.Place it in a Motorola-approved Drop-in Tray Single Unit Charger or Drop-in Tray Multi Unit Charger.

Note: When acquiring additional chargers or power supplies, make sure you have similar drop-in tray chargers and power supplies sets. For part number details, refer to “Chargers” Section on page 41.

Charging a Standalone Battery

To charge only the battery:

1.Insert the battery into the tray, with the inside surface of the battery facing the front of the charger, as shown.

2.Ensure the slots in the battery correctly engage in the charger.
