To restart the system

Use this procedure to restart the system from the Element Manager.

1Select Administration > Utilities > Reset.

2Click the appropriate reset button.

Table 5 lists the Reset functions.

Reboot BCM450 System

Restarts the operating system of the

Cold Reset Telephony

Resets telephony programming of

defaults for that software level

IP telephony.

 

 

Telephony services restart with all

 

 

telephony programming at default

 

 

values for the specified region,

 

 

template, and start DN, for the

 

 

current software release level.

 

 

A cold reset erases voice message

 

 

mailboxes and messages if the DN

 

 

length is not set to system defaults.

Shutdown BCM System

Shuts down the BCM450.

Stops all services running on the

 

 

system.
