Outgoing messages

The outgoing message is the message your caller hears when your Decor 500 answers a call.

Your Decor 500 comes with 2 pre-recorded outgoing messages to choose from as follows:

Answer and record allows callers to

leave a message, whilst Answer Only does not.

The default outgoing message is Answer and Record.

Pre-recorded outgoing messages:

Answer and Record

‘Hello, your call cannot be taken at the moment, so please leave your message after the tone.’

Answer Only

‘Hello, your call cannot be taken at the moment and you cannot leave a message, so please call later.’

You can use either of these outgoing messages or you may wish to record your own. You can record your own outgoing message up to 3 minutes long. See opposite, ‘To record your own outgoing message’.
