4Plug the telephone line cord into the telephone wall socket

5Set the day and time

Your answering machine informs you of the day and time each message was recorded, so it is important that you set the correct day and time. Your Decor 500 uses the 12 hour clock.

In the event of a power failure you will need to re-set the day and time.

Stop

Press and hold the STOP

 

button. The current day

 

setting will be announced.

Release the STOP button.

Press and release the  SKIP or SKIP  button to move backwards and forwards through the days of the week.

 

When the correct day is

Stop

announced, press and release

 

the STOP button.

The day you have set is announced and then the current hour setting.

Press and release the  SKIP or SKIP  button to select the correct hour.

When the correct hour is

Stop

announced, press and release

 

 

the STOP button.

The hour you have set is announced and then the current minute setting.

Press and release the  SKIP or SKIP  button to select the correct minute.

When the correct minute is

Stop

announced, press and release

 

 

the STOP button.

Your Decor 500 will announce the day and time you have set.

Note

In the event of a power failure all the telephone features will still work, except for storing numbers in the Quickdial memory and setting the ringer volume and pitch.

All answering machine messages and stored Quickdial memory numbers will be saved.
