Configuring 802.11b/g Radio Communications

Make sure all components with antennas are at least 30 cm (1 ft) apart when power is applied. Failure to comply could result in equipment damage.

The wireless CN2G has an internal 802.11b/g radio to transfer data using wireless communications. This section of the manual assumes that you have already set up your wireless communications network including your access points. If you are using a UDP Plus network, you also need to have your Intermec Application Server communicating with a host computer.

Your CN2G supports these network protocols:

TCP/IP

UDP Plus

The next sections explain the parameters you need to configure for the CN2G to work in your wireless network.
