Press the notch on the

handset cover firmly and

slide it as indicated by the arrow.

Remove the old battery. Insert

 

the new battery into the

 

 

handset as shown, matching

 

 

the correct polarity (#).

 

 

Press the battery down

 

 

until it places into the

compartment ($).

Close the cover. Make sure you charge the new battery for about

15 hours in order to display the battery strength prompt correctly

 

(p. 12).
