To configure the device in Link Aggregate Root Router Mode, follow these steps:
1.Go to Tools System configuration drop down menu. The System Configuration will be displayed as shown below.
2.Click on the Device Mode link in the System Configuration page.
3.Choose the Link Aggregate Root Router Mode option and click on Apply Changes. A confirmation Wireless IP pop up window will appear as shown below.
4.After setting the wireless IP, click on Apply Changes. Please wait for the device to configure the settings in the Link Aggregate Root Router Mode. Radio A and Radio B will now be in Root Router Mode
5.Both Radio A and Radio B need to be associated with the respective Radio A and Radio B of the Remote Device, which should be configured in Link Aggregate Remote Router/NAT Mode.
Note: Ensure that both local and remote devices are enabled for Link Aggregate Mode.
Note: When using Link Aggregate Root Router Mode, the Remote device should be configured in Link Aggregate Remote Router/NAT mode.
When Configuring the IP address for Link Aggregate Root Router and Link Aggregate Remote Router/NAT, you are required to assign the IP statically on both Root and Remote sides.
The Wireless IP address on the Root and Remote devices needs to be 3 host addresses apart. The subnet mask cannot be less than 255.255.255.248.
For Example:
Root Router is configured as: 192.168.1.208 (The following sequence 192.168.1.209 and 192.168.1.210 cannot be assigned to any other hosts)
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Remote Router/NAT needs to be configured as: 192.168.1.211 (The following sequence 192.168.1.212 and 192.168.1.213 cannot be assigned to any other hosts)
Netmask : 255.255.255.0
