Le filtre à air est amovible, ce qui en facilite le nettoyage. La propreté du filtre aide à réduire la teneur de l'air en poussières, mousses, et autres particules, et est importante pour un rendement de refroidissement et un fonctionnement optimaux. Le voyant lumineux de réinitialisation du filtre s'illuminera pour vous avertir que le filtre a besoin d'être nettoyé. Ce voyant s'illumine après 240 heures de fonctionnement du climatiseur.

1.Éteindre le climatiseur et débrancher le cordon d'alimentation de la prise.

2.Ouvrir le panneau avant et retirer le filtre à air. Certains modèles peuvent comporter un filtre coulissant qui ne nécessitent pas que le panneau avant soit ouvert. (voir les figures 25 et 26)

3.Se servir d'un aspirateur avec embout boyau pour nettoyer le filtre à air. Si le filtre est très sale, le laver avec de l'eau chaude et un savon doux. Ne jamais mettre un filtre à air au lave-vaisselle ou utiliser des produits nettoyants chimiques. Ne pas faire sécher le filtre dans la sécheuse ou au four à micro-ondes. Sécher complètement le filtre à l'air avant de le remettre en place.

4.Remettre le filtre en place dans le climatiseur.

5.Refermer le panneau avant.

6.Brancher le câble d’alimentation dans la prise murale, allumer le climatiseur et appuyer sur le bouton Filter Reset pour éteindre l’indicateur lumineux.

REMARQUE : Ne jamais faire fonctionner un climatiseur dont le filtre n'est pas installé.
