1 Set the FUNCTION switch to CD. The OPE/BATT indicator lights.

2 Press OPEN to open the disc compartment.

3 Place a disc in the center with the label side up and close the disc compartment.

After listening

Set the FUNCTION switch to POWER (!) STANDBY/TAPE.

Press the W STOP/MEMORY button to stop play before opening the

disc compartment.

. Do not place more than one disc in the disc compartment at the same time.

If the video image of a nearby television is distorted or noise is heard from a radio during CD play, move the unit further away from the affected television ‘or radio. ”
