OUTPUT BRIDGE RECTIFIER TEST

WARNING

Service and repair should only be performed by Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the test/repairs safely, contact the Lincoln Electric service department for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed. Call 1-800-833- 9353(WELD).

TEST DESCRIPTION

This test will determine if a diode is “shorted” or “leaky”. See the machine waveform section in this manual for normal and abnormal output wave forms.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Analog Volt-ohmmeter or Diode Tester

3/8” Nutdriver

1/2” Nutdriver

This procedure takes approximately 20 minutes to perform.
