O.Riving Knife—Maintains kerf opening dur- ing cutting operations. This function is crucial to preventing kickback caused by the kerf closing behind the blade.
P.Main Blade—Performs the cutting opera- tions.
Q.Scoring Blade—Small cutting blade that rotates opposite the main saw blade. The blade scores the workpiece before the actual cutting operation is performed preventing tear-out in laminate materials. The scoring blade is adjustable forward and backward, up and down, and in thickness of kerf.
