The authentication server is added to the Authentication Server tab.

Editing To edit an authentication server IP address for the Call Processor using Authentication EMS:

1Log into EMS.

2From the Explorer tab, navigate to the 3Com Sip Call Processor.

3From the Properties tab, click Authentication Servers.

4Double-click the IP Address under the AuthServerIpAddress column you want to edit.

5High-light what you want to edit.

6Type in the new IP address.

7Click in a different field to activate the Save all button.

8Click Save all.

The new IP Address is added to the nmdb.xml file and is listed in the AuthServerIpAddress column of EMS.

Removing To remove an authentication server through EMS:

1Log into EMS.

2From the Explorer tab, navigate to the 3Com Sip Call Processor.

3From the Properties tab, click Authentication Servers.

4Put cursor in the row of the authentication server you want to delete.

5Click Delete.

The authentication server is removed from the VCX IP Telephony Server.
