uThe electrical installation must conform to the most current version of the National Electrical Code, NFPA No. 70, and all applicable local and state codes.

uNational Electrical Code, article 680; Swimming Pools, Fountains, and Similar Installations, shall apply.

uNational Electrical Code, article 440, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment, shall apply.

Reference Equipment Data Plate:

uAll TropiCal heat pumps have their data plates located on the left, exterior, side panel. Refer to equipment data plate for unit-specific electrical power and over-current protection requirements. Based on data plate information; size wiring, devices, and over-current protection per applicable codes and standards.

uSee drawing below for data plate details specific to Electrical Installation Requirements. The numbered areas represented below will contain the necessary information required in sizing electrical service and over current protection devices.
