The manufacturer of the FLOOR PLANER has gone to great extremes to provide the owner(s) and/or operator(s) with the finest equipment available for its intended job function of removing covering materials from concrete and wood floor surfaces. Yet, the possibility exists that the FLOOR PLANER can be utilized in and/or subjected to job applications not perceived and/or anticipated by the manufacturer. Such misuse and/or misapplication of the FLOOR PLANER can lead to the possibility of serious damage, injury or even death. It is the responsibility of the owner(s) and/or operator(s) to determine that the FLOOR PLANER is being utilized and/or operated within the scope of its intended job function. It is the responsibility of the owner(s) and/or operator(s) to establish, monitor and constantly upgrade all safety programs and/or practices utilized in and for the operation of the FLOOR PLANER. The purpose of such programs is to provide for owner(s') and/or operator(s') safety. Operators must be instructed to recognize and avoid unsafe conditions associated with their work (29 CFR 1926.21 (b)(2)) and/or applicable updated revisions. It is the responsibility of the owner(s) and/or operator(s) to determine that no modifications and/or alterations have been made to the FLOOR PLANER. Modifications and/or alterations can lead to the possibility of serious damage, injury or even death. It is the responsibility of the owner(s) and/or operator(s) to make this Operator Manual available for consultation during all phases of operation. Refer to OSHA 2207 and/or applicable updated revisions which contains all OSHA job safety and health rules and regulations (1926 and 1910) covering construction.
