Wait while the printer initializes the printheads. This may take up to 8 minutes. The LCD panel will ask you to load paper and an alignment page will print.

Load paper in Tray 1.

If you wish to remove Tray 1 to load the paper, first lift up the output tray (do not remove the output tray). Before reinserting Tray 1, make sure the printer is plugged in and powered ON.
