View estimated ink levels

You can view the estimated ink level of the print cartridge installed in the printer either from a connected computer or on the printer itself. The printer screen displays an ink- level icon that shows the approximate amount of ink remaining in the cartridge (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and nearly empty):

Low on ink (less than 25%).

NOTE: Ink from the cartridges is used in the printing process in a number of different ways, including in the initialization process, which prepares the device and cartridges for printing, and in printhead servicing, which keeps print nozzles clear and ink flowing smoothly. In addition, some residual ink is left in the cartridge after it is used. For more information see www.hp.com/go/inkusage.

To view the estimated ink level of the print cartridge from a connected computer

1.Open the Toolbox dialog box. For more information, see “Toolbox dialog box” on page 37.

2.Click the Estimated Ink Levels tab.

Insert or replace the print cartridge

Use the HP 110 Tri-color Inkjet print cartridge to print black-and-white and color photos.
