Connect another Video Out

To temporarily change Video Out such as HDMI or VGA video (any output other than component video):

1Turn off the TV/display.

2Turn off the HP Digital Entertainment Center by pressing and holding the On/Standby power button for 4 seconds. The On/Standby button should be dark and not lit amber or blue.

3Disconnect the component video cable from the HP Digital Entertainment Center back-panel Video Out.

4Connect another Video Out, such as HDMI or VGA video cables to the HP Digital Entertainment Center back-panel Video Out.

NOTE: If your TV/display can accept HDMI or VGA video, connect HDMI or VGA video, for a higher-quality image.

5Turn on the TV/display.

6Switch the TV/display input to the HDMI or VGA video input.

7Turn on the HP Digital Entertainment Center by pressing the On/Standby power button. a Wait 1 to 2 minutes. The video image reappears.

b Do not restart your HP Digital Entertainment Center.
