5Adjust the left media guide by pushing it in (A) and lifting it up and out (B).

Note

Lift here (C) to remove paper from the tray.

6Position the guide over the appropriate media size marked in the tray.

7Press the guide into the rear slot (D), and then lower it down (E) into the front slot (F). Make sure the guide is not skewed.

8Load media into the tray up to the media-fill mark. For example, up to 500 sheets of 20 lb. (75 g/m2) bond paper will fit in the tray. For information on loading and orienting media, see the online user guide or the quick reference guide.

Note

Do not fill input trays above the media-fill mark. Too much media in the input trays can cause media jams.
