Grounding work

Grounding must be done by a qualified installer for your safety.

Grounding the power cable

ffThe standard of grounding may vary according to the rated voltage and installation place of the air conditioner. ffGround the power cable according to the following table.

ffGrounding must be done by installation specialist.

ffCheck if the grounding resistance is lower than 100Ω. When installing a circuit breaker that can cut the electric circuit in case of a short circuit, the allowable grounding resistance can be 30~500Ω.

Note 2) Grounding at dry place

ffThe grounding resistance is should be lower than 100Ω and even in worst case, it should be lower than 250Ω)

Performing the ground work

ffUse the grounding wire by referring to the specification of the electric cable for the outdoor unit.

When using the exclusive terminal for grounding

-- When exclusive terminal for grounding is installed. Ex) Steel house etc.
