Trial operation

Inspection before trial operation

1.Check the power and communication cable of the indoor and outdoor unit.

2.Turn on the power 2 hours before initial operation to pre-heat the crank case heater.

3.Check the power supply between the outdoor unit and the cabinet panel.

-- Check the 3 phase power of the compressor and the distribution board [R (Red), S (White), T (Black)] with the 3 phase tester.

-- Check the line voltage(R-S, S-T, T-R) 380-415V power and phase voltage (R-N, S-N, T-N) 220-240V power with the voltage meter.

4.Once the outdoor unit is turned on, it performs the tracking to check the connected indoor unit and option.

• Turn on the power 2 hours before initial operation so the crank case heater can be heated enough to start the CAUTION system.

Trial operation

1.Run the unit by KEY mode.

-- Operate the unit by KEY mode.

-- Inspect the compressor sound during the initial operation. If roaring sound is heard, stop the operation.

-- If roaring sound is heard and the pressure does not change, back-lashing of the compressor may occur. Therefore, check the power supply of the compressor. If the problem occurs continuously, check the compressor power cable. (3 Phase: T1(L1)(R)(U) Red, T2(L2)(S)(V) White, T3(L3)(T)(W) Black

-- Make sure that all the indoor units are properly operating.

2.Check the indoor and outdoor unit’s operating status. -- Check if the indoor unit cools.

-- Indoor unit control: Check the air flow direction and fan speed. -- Check for indoor and outdoor unit’s abnormal running noise.

-- Check for proper drainage from the indoor unit in cooling mode.

3.If error occurs during trial operation, check the error code of the unit and follow the instruction.

4.Explain to the customer how to use the air conditioner according to the user’s manual.

5.Give this installation manual to the user.
