Note: All troubleshooting items are listed in order of operation.

Turn off fireplace and let cool before cleaning.

You must keep control areas, burner, and circulating air passage- ways of fireplace clean. Inspect these areas of fireplace before each use. Have fireplace inspected yearly by a qualified service person. Fireplace may need more frequent cleaning due to excessive lint from carpeting, bedding material, etc.

ODS/PILOT AND BURNER

• Use a vacuum cleaner, pressurized air, or small, soft bristled brush to clean.

CABINET

Air Passageways

• Use a vacuum cleaner or pressurized air to clean.

Exterior

Use a soft cloth dampened with a mild soap and water mixture. Wipe the cabinet to remove dust.

Turn off and unplug fireplace and let cool before servicing. Only a qualified service person should service and repair fireplace.

Never use a wire, needle, or similar object to clean ODS/pilot. This can damage ODS/pilot unit.
