Use 2 twisted pair cables with a modular jack fitted at each one end to connect the AI-MS900 to the AI-900MS. Refer to the following table for the maximum recommended cable length between the two.

*Mount the ferrite clamp (supplied with the AI-900MS card) on the cable in a way that the cable is looped one turn as illustrated. (This countermeasure is for complying with the CE marking and FCC requirements.)

Note

When using a shielded cable, connect the shielded wire to the "FG" terminal of the exchange main frame. Also, connect the unused cables, if included in a bundle of cables, to the same terminal.
