12.8.1. Amplifier and AI-900AF connection

Paging can be provided through connected external amplifiers using the AI-900AF.

[Connection]

To connect the amplifier to the AI-900AF, use a twisted pair cable for voice output, and a twisted pair cable for control output. The voice output is 0 dB* and of unbalanced type. The control output is an open collector output of 20 mA, 24 V DC max., and permits connection of up to 16 channels. Connect as shown below.

*0 dB = 1 V
