12.8.2. External sound source and AI-900AF connection

The External Sound Source Distribution function can be operated using the AI-900AF.

[Connection]

To connect external sound sources to the AI-900AF, use a twisted pair cable for voice input, and a twisted pair cable for control input (level-operated activation). The voice input is 0 dB* and of unbalanced type. The start input is a no-voltage make contact of 20 mA, 24 V DC max. Connect as shown below.

*0 dB = 1 V
