Note 1. The refrigerant pipes and the indoor unit contain a nitrogen holding charge which must be removed by evacuation. <Piping connection procedures>

See that ball valve on outdoor unit is fully shut (unit is shipped with valve shut). Remove caps from piping and unit and make flare connection promptly. Repeat for each connection, one at a time.

After all piping connections between indoor and outdoor unit have been completed, vacuum-purge air from system through the service port for the ball valve on the outdoor unit.

Note 2. The following parts are contained in optional refrigerant piping kit.

Heat insulating cover, vinyl tapes, nipples, sleeve and flange (for wall hole), connecting cables etc.

3. TIMER ADAPTER

This adapter is needed for system control and for operation via external contacts.
