Placing cup(s) under the espresso pour spout and choosing the coffee pour volume

Place one or two cups under the espresso pour spout. The height of the pour spout can be adjusted to suit the size of the cup by lifting or lowering the pour spout to reduce heat loss and or prevent the espresso from splashing. See figure 15.

Press the ‘coffee pour volume’ button as many times as needed to reach the required pour length. See figure 16.
