0Remove the brewing unit and thor- oughly clean the inside of the appli- ance, as described in the section „Cleaning the brewing unit“, page 51. Repeat the operation, but switch the appliance on first.

What to do if the coffee machine has to be transported

Keep the original packaging as trans- port protection. It is important to use the original plastic bag as a protection against scratches.

Secure the coffee machine and the thermos jug against jarring. The manu- facturer accepts no liability for dam- age during transportation.

Empty the water tank and waste coffee container.

Care should also be taken with the location of the coffee machine - espe- cially in cold weather, when damage can be caused by frost.
