Ensure that the house supply wires and all electrical connections meet require ments of all applicable codes.
DO NOT GROUND TO A GAS SUPPLY PIPE.
Improper grounding will cause malfunction (such as continuous sparking of the burner igniters), may damage this appliance, and could create a condition of shock hazard at the igniter of each burner. It is the responsibility and obligation of the installer or user to ensure that the appliance is properly grounded.
STEP 7: BACKGUARD INSTALLATION

The backguard is inserted, as |

shown in Fig. 22, into the guide |
|
channels on the back of the range. |
|
Secure the backguard with the (4) |
|
sheet metal screws provided. |
