CONTROLLING THE TEMPERATURE
Controlling the Freezer Temperature
To control the freezer temperature:
Press the Freezer button. (Refer to the illustration.)
–The temperature can be set in 1ºC (1.8°F) intervals between
–Each time the Freezer button is pressed, the temperature setting will change as follows:
When selecting the temperature, the set temperature is displayed initially for 5 seconds and then the actual temperature is displayed. (There may be a slight difference between the set temperature and the displayed actual temperature, but it will be corrected to the set temperature automatically.)
NOTE: The freezer temperature will change depending on the number of door openings, quantity of food, ambient temperature, etc.
Temperature of each shelf in the freezer may be different.
The temperature display will blink when the freezer temperature increases due to frequent door opening, keeping warm food, etc.
(Blinking will stop when the freezer reaches normal temperature. If for some reason it does not stop after a long period of time, contact a Sears service center.)
Controlling the Refrigerator
Temperature
To control the refrigerator temperature:
Press the Fridge button. (Refer to the illustration.)
–The temperature can be set in 1ºC (1.8°F) intervals between 1ºC (34°F) and 7ºC (45°F).
–Each time the Fridge button is pressed, the temperature setting will change as follows:
3ºC (37°F) → 2ºC (36°F) → 1ºC (34°F) → 7ºC (45°F) → 6ºC (43°F) → 5ºC (41°F) → 4ºC (39°F) → 3ºC (37°F)
