Learning function

If your AV component is not a Denon product or if it cannot be operated using the preset memory, it can be controlled with the included remote control unit by storing its remote control signals in the remote control unit.

Use the D and H cursor buttons to select the mode for the

button to be “learned”, then press the ENTER button.

• “SELECT KEY” is displayed.

Press the button to be “learned” while “SELECT KEY” is

 

 

displayed. “NOW LEARN” appears.

 

• “NOT VALID” is displayed if a button that cannot be

 

“learned” is pressed.

 

• To cancel, press the power ON/SOURCE button and the

 

OFF button simultaneously.

“COMPLETE” appears on the remote control unit’s display

 

 

and learning is completed.

 

 

• “SELECT KEY” is displayed. Other keys can be “learned”

 

by repeating steps 5 to 7.

To cancel the learning mode, press the power ON/SOURCE

button and the OFF button simultaneously again.

Registering is not possible in the receiver mode.

Point the remote control units directly at each other and press
