(a) How catalytic oven liner works.

The surfaces of the oven liners are treated with a special vitreous enamel which absorbs cooking soils.

At temperatures of 220°C (425°F) or above, the special surface enables these soils to be slowly destroyed. The higher the temperature the more effective it is.

(b) Cleaning.

In most cases normal cooking operations at 220°C (425°F) will permit this cleaning operation to proceed during cooking. However if higher cooking temperatures are not used regularly, it may be necessary, in order to prevent heavy soiling, to run the ovens without shelves or meat pan, at a maximum setting for a couple of hours.

It should not normally be necessary to clean the panels with water. If the user feels it is desirable to do so, wipe them over with a clean, soapy cloth, followed by a wipe with a clean damp cloth.

DO NOT use biological washing powder, harsh abrasives or chemical oven cleaners of any kind as this could damage the "Stayclean" oven liners.

Wipe out the oven with a damp soapy cloth. For more stubborn stains on the base of the oven use a well soaped fine steel wool soap pad.

(b)Grill Pan, Meat Pan & Oven Shelves.

To prevent stains from being burnt on to the grill pan, food support and rod shelf, always wash immediately after use in warm soapy water. Use a well soaped fine steel wool soap pad to remove stubborn stains from the rod shelves, grill pan, meat pan and the base of the oven.

DO NOT use aerosol cleaners on this oven as they could adversely affect the fan motor unit, and cannot be wiped off the fan blade.

FID10IX/1, FID20IX/1 specifications

The Indesit FID20IX/1 and FID10IX/1 built-in dishwashers exemplify innovation and efficiency in kitchen appliances. Both models are designed to cater to modern households, combining practicality with advanced technology to enhance the dishwashing experience.

The FID20IX/1 features a sleek stainless steel finish, offering a contemporary aesthetic that seamlessly blends with any kitchen decor. Its capacity allows for up to 14 place settings, making it suitable for larger families or anyone who frequently entertains guests. This model boasts multiple wash programs, including Eco, Intensive, and Fast, providing flexibility for various dishwashing needs. The Eco program is particularly noteworthy, as it is designed to use less water and energy, making it an environmentally friendly option.

A standout feature of the FID20IX/1 is the presence of the proprietary Indesit technology known as "Extra Power." This feature enhances the washing performance by providing a more effective clean, particularly useful for stubborn stains and heavily soiled dishes. The dishwasher also comes with an adjustable upper basket, which allows users to customize the interior space to accommodate larger pots and pans.

On the other hand, the FID10IX/1 is a more compact version, perfect for smaller kitchens or for those who require a bit less capacity. It can hold up to 10 place settings while still maintaining essential features found in larger models. Like the FID20IX/1, it offers various wash programs, ensuring that users can select the best option based on the level of dirtiness and the types of dishes being cleaned.

Both models employ the "Half Load" option, which optimizes water and energy usage when washing smaller loads, making them efficient choices for everyday use. Additionally, the whisper-quiet operation of these dishwashers ensures that noise is minimized, allowing for comfortable use even during nighttime hours.

Durability is another hallmark of these Indesit models, with robust construction ensuring long-lasting performance. Their user-friendly interfaces and clear LED displays make operation straightforward even for those who may not be technically inclined. Overall, the Indesit FID20IX/1 and FID10IX/1 provide efficient, versatile, and stylish solutions for modern dishwashing needs.
