INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS
Note: These checks should only be carried out by a competent person (eg. CORGI registered)
After installation, check for gas soundness. The supply pressure can be checked at the grill injector. Loosen the fastening screw on the left hand side of the grill burner and slide the burner to the right and then off the injector. Ensure that the grill burner is correctly located and the fixing screw tightened on reassembly.
As the door switch prevents the grill burner and oven burner operating at the same time a bypass switch is provided to allow the supply pressure to be checked at the grill injector with the oven burner operating. The switch is located behind the ventilation slots below the door, on the right hand side.
1.Remove the oven door as shown in the cleaning instructions.
2.Measure the supply pressure at the grill injector as above.
3.Turn the oven on at the thermostat, and depress and hold in the bypass switch button while the flame safety device opens to full rate. This can be done by pushing a screwdriver or similar tool through the ventilation slot in front of the bypass switch.
4.Refit the oven door and grill burner.
5.Check that the grill burner ignites correctly and burns with a steady flame. Check for a steady flame on the low setting.
6.Check that, with the main oven set to mark 9, the burner ignites at low rate, and then increases to full rate within 60 seconds. Leave the oven full on with the door closed for 10 minutes, and check that when the control is turned to the ‘Slow Cook’ setting that the flame reduces.
7.Check the operation of the oven timer, oven light(s) & cooling fan.
Instruct the user on operation of the appliance.
