Maintenance

Oven Door

CAUTION

Do not place excessive weight on or stand on an open oven door. This could cause the range to tip over, break the door, or injure the user.

Do not attempt to open or close door or operate oven until door is properly replaced.

Never place fingers between hinge and front oven frame. Hinge arms are spring mounted. If accidentally hit, the hinge will slam shut against oven frame and could injure your fingers.

To remove:

1. When cool, open the oven door to the first stop position (opened about four inches).

2. Grasp door at each side. Do not use the door handle to lift door.

3. Lift up evenly until door clears hinge arms.

To replace:

1.Grasp door at each side.

2.Align slots in the door with the hinge arms on the range.

3.Slide the door down onto the hinge arms until the door is completely seated on the hinges. Push down on the top corners of the door to completely seat door on hinges. Door should not appear crooked.

Note: The oven door on a new range may feel “spongy” when it is closed. This is normal and will decrease with use.

Oven Window

To protect the oven door window:

1.Do not use abrasive cleaning agents such as steel wool scouring pads or powdered cleansers as they may scratch the glass.

2.Do not hit the glass with pots, pans, furniture, toys, or other objects.

3.Do not close the oven door until the oven racks are in place.

Scratching, hitting, jarring or stressing the glass may weaken its structure causing an increased risk of breakage at a later date.

Oven Light

CAUTION

Disconnect power to range before replacing light bulb.

Use a dry potholder to prevent possible harm to hands when replacing bulb.

Be sure bulb is cool before touching.

Do not touch hot bulb with a damp cloth as this may cause the bulb to break.

To Replace Oven Light Bulb:

1.When oven is cool, hold bulb cover in place, then slide wire retainer off cover. NOTE: Bulb cover will fall if not held in place

while removing wire retainer.

2. Remove bulb cover and light bulb.

3. Replace with a 40-watt ap- pliance bulb.

WIRE

4. Replace bulb cover and se-RETAINER cure with wire retainer.

5. Reconnect power to range. Reset clock.

Coil specifications

Amana Coil is a leading manufacturer of high-quality heating and cooling products, recognized for its innovative technologies and commitment to energy efficiency. One of the key features that distinguishes Amana Coil from its competitors is its advanced coil design, which significantly enhances the performance of the HVAC systems. The coils are constructed using high-grade copper and aluminum materials that not only provide superior thermal conductivity but also ensure longer service life.

One of the notable technologies employed in Amana Coil products is the use of advanced refrigerant technology. The use of eco-friendly refrigerants, such as R-410A, helps reduce the environmental impact while maintaining excellent cooling efficiency. This is especially crucial in today's market, where environmental sustainability is becoming a top priority for both consumers and manufacturers.

Amana Coil products also incorporate multi-stage cooling and heating systems. This technology allows for better temperature control and more consistent comfort levels within the home. By adjusting the output based on current heating or cooling demands, these systems are able to operate more efficiently, leading to lower energy bills. Additionally, the variable-speed fan motors found in many Amana Coil models provide enhanced airflow and reduced noise levels, contributing to a more pleasant indoor environment.

Durability is another critical characteristic of Amana Coil products. The precision-engineered coils are designed to withstand a variety of harsh operating conditions, ensuring longevity and reliability. The units are subject to rigorous testing, which guarantees that they can handle extreme temperatures and moisture levels without compromising performance.

Moreover, Amana Coil offers excellent warranty coverage, often providing a limited lifetime warranty on the compressor and a 10-year parts limited warranty. This reinforces the brand's confidence in its products and offers peace of mind to customers.

In summary, Amana Coil stands out in the HVAC market due to its attention to high-quality materials, energy-efficient technologies, and robust design. By focusing on innovative solutions and sustainable practices, Amana Coil continues to lead the way in providing superior heating and cooling systems that meet the needs of both residential and commercial customers. Buyers looking for reliable, efficient, and eco-friendly HVAC solutions will find Amana Coil a top choice in today's competitive market.
