Sharp Bends

Avoid sharp bends, always allow enough hose for free moment as seen in FIGURE 3-9.

Chafing Hoses

Avoid Chafing Hoses. Always give plenty of clearance around sharp edges (see FIGURE 3-10). Finally, operate the arms in all positions, except that noted below, to ensure that the hoses are clear of any obstructions.
