MAINTENANCE

 

3.Retighten the blade bolts [1] using a torque wrench [5]. Use a wood block to stop the blade rotating when tightening the bolts.

Blade bolt tightening torque: 5.5 kgfm (55 N.m)

CAUTION:

•If you do not have a torque wrench, ask your approved Honda mower dealer to tighten the blade bolts for you before you use the mower.

•If the blade bolts are too tight or too slack, they may break or unscrew.

CAUTION:

•Washing with a high pressure water or steam jet will damage the bag. Blocked mesh will prevent the grass from entering the bag.

To clean the bag, we recommend washing it using a water jet directed from the outside to the inside of the bag. The bag must be completely dry before being used again. If the bag is damp, it will become clogged very quickly.

WARNING :

Objects struck by the blade may be thrown through a torn or damaged grass bag. Objects thrown out by the blade can cause serious injuries. Always replace a torn or damaged grass bag.

3.Resserrer les vis de lame [1] avec une clé dynamométrique [5]. Utiliser un bloc de bois pour empêcher la lame de tourner lors du resserrage des vis.

Couple de serrage pour les vis de lame : de 5.5 kgfm (55 N.m).

PRÉCAUTION :

•Si vous ne disposez pas de clé dynamométrique, faites resserrer les vis de lame par un concessionnaire agréé Honda avant d’utiliser la tondeuse.

•Si les vis de lames sont trop ou trop peu serrées, elles peuvent se briser ou se dévisser.

PRÉCAUTION :

•Un lavage au jet de vapeur ou à haute pression endommagera le sac. Des mailles obstruées empêchent l’herbe de pénétrer dans le sac.

Pour nettoyer le sac, il est recommandé de le laver au jet d’eau dirigé de l’extérieur vers l’intérieur. Il doit être bien sec avant de l’utiliser à nouveau. Si le sac est mouillé, il se colmatera très rapidement.

Des objets frappés par la lame peuvent être projetés à travers un sac à herbe déchiré ou abîmé. Des objets projetés peuvent provoquer de graves blessures. Remplacez un sac à herbe déchiré ou abîmé.
