MAINTENANCE

 

All models:

2.Pull off the spark plug cap.

3.Tilt the mower so that the carburetor [1] (left side of mower) is facing upwards.

CAUTION:

•Never tilt the mower so that the carburetor side is facing downwards. Fuel will spill out and the mower will be difficult to start.

4.Check that the belt [2] is not torn, cracked or showing early signs of breaking. If a replacement is necessary, take the mower to an approved Honda dealer.

BELT TENSION ADJUSTMENT

Adjust the tension by turning the socket bolt [3] with a socket wrench [4] until there is a distance of 5 mm [5] between the guide boss [6] and the spring holder tip [7].

FINAL TRANSMISSION CHAIN

1.Clean with a brush.

2.Oil the chain [8].

2.Retirer le capuchon de la bougie d’allumage.

3.Incliner la tondeuse de façon à ce que le carburateur [1] (côté gauche de la tondeuse) soit tourné vers le haut.

PRÉCAUTION :

•Ne jamais incliner la tondeuse de façon à ce que le côté du carburateur soit tourné vers le bas. L’essence se renverserait et la tondeuse serait difficile à démarrer.

4.Vérifier si la courroie [2] n’est pas effilochée ou craquelée et ne présente pas d’amorce de rupture. Si un remplacement est nécessaire, porter la tondeuse chez un concessionnaire agréé Honda.

RÉGLAGE DE LA TENSION DE LA COURROIE

Ajuster la tension en tournant la vis à six pans creux [3] avec une clé six pans [4] jusqu’à ce qu’il y ait une distance de 5 mm [5] entre le bossage [6] et l’extrémité du support du ressort [7].

CHAÎNE DE TRANSMISSION

1.Enlever les débris de végétaux avec une brosse.

2.Huiler la chaîne [8].
