SEAT POSITION

OPERATING THE TRACTOR

The seat can be adjusted forward or backwards. Raise the seat (1), loosen the adjuster knobs (2), adjust the seat to the desired position and re-tighten the adjuster knobs. Lower the seat.

IMPORTANT - Ensure that the adjuster knobs are fully tightened before operation.

HEADLIGHTS

The lights are an integral function of the ignition switch. Turn the ignition key to the symbol to switch them on.

CUTTERBLADE CONTROL

The cutterdeck drive switch engages and disengages drive to the cutterblades.

- Engage Drive: Pull the cutterdeck drive switch out.

- Disengage Drive - Push the cutterdeck drive switch in.

HEIGHT OF CUT SETTING

The height of cut lever is used to raise and lower the cutterdeck to the desired height of cut.

Move the height of cut lever inwards to disengage it from the height of cut notches, then push forwards to lower or pull backwards to raise the height of cut. Release the lever into the required position and ensure that it locks securely into the appropriate notch. There are six height of cut positions. These are indicated by the numbered notches, 1 to 6.

IMPORTANT: Always select the height of cut to suit operating con- ditions. Prevent engine overloading and blockages by avoiding low cuts in long grass conditions. Be prepared to make two cuts when the grass is long.
